The Simlai Foundation creates a new model of volunteerism by enabling talented professionals to solve Israeli social challenges by giving back their skills and expertise to highly impactful and growing NGOs.
We are empowering Israeli nonprofits across various sectors to build solid foundations, achieve scalability, and become truly sustainable. We believe that with the right support and professional guidance, these remarkable organizations can unlock their full potential and create a lasting impact on Israeli society.
Our Value Proposition:
Needs Identification: We have conducted extensive research and mapping of nonprofits' needs, allowing us to have a deep understanding of their challenges and requirements. Many nonprofits are unaware of their specific needs or how to articulate them effectively. We specialize in helping them identify areas where they require our support and guidance. Our assistance ranges from one-time projects such as storytelling and one-pagers to ongoing and long-term support, including website set-up and management, CRM implementation, and more.
Connection: We serve as a bridge between nonprofits and skilled-based volunteers, fostering meaningful collaborations that drive positive change. By facilitating connections between these two groups, we enable nonprofits to tap into a diverse pool of expertise and resources. Through our platform, nonprofits can easily access skilled volunteers who are passionate about their cause and willing to contribute their specialized skills and knowledge
Management: We accompany the teams and supervise the volunteer program from the beginning to the end. Program management is an essential component of our success. It is critical to monitor and support the volunteers and the nonprofit to ensure the volunteer projects are running smoothly and successfully.
Evaluation: We measure the program's social impact in the same way we measure financial donations. We showcase the tremendous impact of time donated for each volunteer to understand the value of his/her skills donation.
Through strategic partnerships with prominent Israeli companies such as Wix, Ex Libris, and Teva, we have made significant strides in generating social impact. Our collaborations have empowered over 55 nonprofits to establish their online presence by providing support in website development, CRM implementation, one-pager creation, business plan development, marketing strategy, and more.
We take great pride in our engagement with a dedicated network of 170 professionals who have generously contributed over 3,000 hours of their time as volunteers. Their invaluable expertise and commitment have enabled nonprofits to access specialized skills and knowledge without incurring significant costs. By harnessing the power of skilled volunteers, we estimate that we have saved nonprofits over $500,000 dollars in professional services fees.

Beit Rafaela, a rehabilitation center dedicated to supporting women cancer patients throughout their recovery process, experienced a transformative journey, thanks to the high-quality support received from Simlai.
