Do you have a social venture you would like to promote? You could win a grant of ILS 50,000 – 100,000 to promote and implement it!
In celebration of the 2022 International Women’s Day, Miss Fix the Universe and Bank Hapoalim’s Center for Social Banking are proud to announce the 2022 RFP for social entrepreneurship grants. A total of ILS 225,000 will be paid in grants
Women can fix the world, and it is our role to support them for the benefit of all. We would like to strengthen and support innovative social initiatives led by women, since their success is the entire world’s success.
Miss Fix the Universe is a community founded in November 2021 by the Israel Women’s Network to serve as a platform for women’s social entrepreneurship. Bank Hapoalim has been serving the community for 100 years, supporting nonprofits promoting social mobility, equal opportunity and equality. The two entities are now partnering in celebration of the 2022 International Women’s Day.
What are we looking for? Grants will be made to three social initiatives operated under the auspices of nonprofit organizations, in order to empower women. Our emphasis will be on Israel’s social and geographic periphery. The selection committee will focus solely on initiatives serving women in Israel; political initiatives will not be funded.
Grants: ILS 100,000, ILS 75,000 and ILS 50,000.
Deadline for submissions: June 15, 2022, 12:00 PM.
Voting deadline: July 15, 2022, 12:00 PM.
What if I am not eligible this time? The Miss Fix the Universe website is geared towards the promotion of social entrepreneurship and is open to every woman leading a social initiative, in any field. Entrepreneurs who are not eligible under the current cycle’s requirements, are invited to register with the community, benefit from counseling and networking, and obtain support towards the next suitable cycles.
Evaluation of initiatives by the judging committee will be based on the following criteria:
Social and Gender Impact
Number of beneficiaries
Number of female beneficiaries
Nature of impact
Duration of impact
Geographic spread and areas of activity
Feasibility
The initiative’s long-term sustainability and ability to meet objectives
Impact on Women in the Periphery
Does the initiative empower women in Israel’s socio-geographic periphery? Does it promote gender equality?
Diversity
Does the initiative promote diversity, both in terms of goals and in terms of its own activities?
Public Support
The scope of public support in the initiative, as reflected in public voting results
Miss Fix the Universe in cooperation with the Center for Financial Entrepreneurship at Bank Hapoalim will invite the women entrepreneur community to a lecture on how to promote growth of your initiative. Details will be published soon.
