Maximizing the short-term and long-term development of individuals with autismFirst and foremost, our mission is to improve the lives of children with autism and the lives of their families. SocialMind’s platform is already helping 36 children. Our current pilot results are that children whose parents trained with SocialMind for 12 weeks have advanced their children in these following developmental metrics: length of Utterance (pre- 0.5 words to post 1.4 words) frequency of joint attention (pre- 10.4/10min to post 19.2/10min) frequency of verbal communication (pre-32.2/10min to post 54.7/10min) and frequency of initiative communication (10.4/10min) Our goal is to expand the service within 5 years to 30,000 children, and lengthen the accelerated development through SocialMind training to a time period of two years, thus leveraging the benefits even mo

Our vision for the company in 5 yearsWe expect to build a distributed learning platform, serving 30,000 children with autism in 4 languages. SocialMind will have a natural interaction understanding engine, that will leverage an ensemble of task oriented tools, and provide machine-assistance for better, scalable learning and training. The platform will be built based on SocialMinds' growing training-community. We expect that our clinically proven results will engage governments and insurers to reimburse the cost of our subscription both for moral reasons (“the right thing to do”), and due to macro-economy incentives as well. SocialMind goes for scientific proof with randomized clinical trial that participants that trained on their children improved in the short term and in the long term their IQ, communication score and language score will be better than the control group. We want to reach a goal that 70% of the children that their parents trained on the app for 8 months score within the normal range by the age of 6. In 7 years, we will launch three new products: Anxiety App, Encopresis App, and the Behavioral Disorder App, that will train parents to solve these problems early in the course of the disorder, and save the need of expert services and future costs.
